Working student (f/m/d) or Master thesis in the area of model predictive control for power electronics
Part-time (20 hrs / week)
YOUR TASKS
- Create and extend numerical simulations: Use your skills to create and extend numerical simulations to determine appropriate hardware parameters.
- Simulate dynamic behaviour: Perform simulations of the dynamic behaviour of the converter to develop optimal control strategies.
- Develop model predictive control: Design and implement model predictive control strategies using Python or Matlab/Simulink.
- Implement Embedded System: Implement your solutions on an embedded system and ensure seamless integration with hardware.
- Commissioning the circuit: Take over the commissioning of the circuit with the developed control and optimise it if necessary.
YOUR QUALIFICATION
- Student of electrical engineering, mechatronics, control engineering or a similar field (Bachelor or Master).
- Enthusiasm for electromobility and innovative technologies.
- Knowledge of power electronics and control engineering is an advantage.
- Programming skills in Python and/or Matlab are desirable.
- Initiative, creativity and team spirit.
- Structured work, sociability, good verbal and written expression.
