The aim of the RekuTrAx research project is to develop a demonstrator for a fully integrated, intelligent recuperation axle for lorry trailers. Together with our research partners BPW Bergische Achsen KG, Elektrotechnisches Institut (ETI), KIT and the Institute for Mechatronic Systems at the University of Leipzig, we want to prove that this technology can make a decisive contribution to reducing CO2 emissions from commercial vehicle fleets.
